Dubai Entertainment, Amusement & Leisure Show (DEAL) will celebrate its 15th anniversary when it takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre April 26-28, 2009, making it the longest running business gathering for the Middle East’s amusement industry.

Layia Oak Hotel & Suites was officially opened on November 24 in a ceremony attended by Lord Chris Patten, Former Commander in Chief and Governor of Hong Kong; H.E Khalid Bin Sulayem, Director General, Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing, Dubai Government; Mohamed Abdalla Al Sari, Managing Director, Gulf General Investment Company (GGICO) and Daniel Hajjar, Chief Executive Officer, Layia Hospitality.

Layia Oak Hotel & Suites opened on November 1 in Dubai Al Barsha district, heralding the arrival of a new brand and new hospitality concept to Dubai.

The four-star property is the first hotel venture of Layia Hospitality, and combines the group’s expertise in running Hotels & Suites.
