Amman, September 2010 – On the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, Umniah invited a group of media representatives from local newspapers and magazines to a Ramadan suhour evening on the 30th of August 2010, at the Sawani Terrace in the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Amman.

The suhour was attended by a number of Umniah’s senior management and staff members, alongside representatives of local corporations. Umniah held the suhour to express its appreciation and gratitude towards the Jordanian media’s yearlong efforts in following up on Umniah’s latest news, keeping Jordanians abreast with the company’s latest offers and solutions, in addition to informing the public of the latest developments in the Jordanian telecommunications market. Attendees were entertained by a band playing Eastern music, which added much to the event’s unique Ramadan atmosphere.

Mr. Ihab Hinnawi, Umniah’s CEO, delivered a speech thanking the guests for attending, confirming Umniah’s aspirations to maintain continuous and fruitful collaborations with the local media, who he said were part of Umniah family and an essential factor in the company’s work and proliferation in the Jordanian market.
