During the Al-Awn Humanitarian Association's annual ceremony
Amman, September 2009 – In line with its interests in supporting humanitarian efforts in the local community, Capital Bank announced its sponsorship of the annual ceremony that is conducted by the Al-Awn Humanitarian Association which was held this year on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan under the patronage of HRH Princess Reem Ali, and was attended by His Excellency Abdul Hadi Majali, Lower House Speaker, in addition to a number of Ambassadors and different community figures. In recognition of Capital Bank's efforts in supporting various humanitarian efforts including its support to the Al-Awn Humanitarian Association's initiatives, HRH Princess Reem presented Capital Bank with a plaque for philanthropy which was accepted on behalf of the Bank by Mr. Haytham Kamhiyah Capital Bank's General Manager.
The ceremony that was held on Wednesday, the 2nd of September 2009, at the Grand Hyatt Amman was conducted to support a number of families, orphans and university students and help them improve their living conditions as well as overcome the financial difficulties they are facing.
