Amman, December 2009 – As part of its expansion plans aimed at offering a wider array of comprehensive banking and investment services and catering to different segments in Jordan, Capital Bank announced the opening of its new branch in Majdi Mall located in Queen Rania Al Abdullah Street on Thursday, the 3rd of December 2009. Unlike other Capital Bank branches, the new branch is open from 8am-8pm throughout the week except on Fridays, in order to cater to the various needs of the Bank’s clients at all times.
The new branch in Majdi Mall is one of the six branches that the Bank plans to set up in Marj Al-Hamam, Al Hurriyah Street, Majdi Mall, Dahiyat Al Yasmeen, Al Garden Street, and Zarqa Al-Jadidah in order to expand its existing group of branches within the Kingdom, which cover Shmeisani (the Bank headquarters and Shmeisani branches), Medina Al-Munawara Street, Sweifieh, Dabouq, Wihdat, Bayader, Wadi Al Seer/ Industrial City in Amman, in addition to a branch in Zarqa, Free Zone/ Zarqa and Irbid, and two branches in Aqaba.

Capital Bank is also increasing the threshold of its ATM network in order to ensure round the clock availability of its comprehensive services. The Bank is currently working on increasing the number of its ATM machines to reach 20 machines by the end of the current year, distributing them in key locations and commercial centers in different parts of the Kingdom. Capital Bank recently set up four new ATMs in Mecca Mall, City Mall, Majdi Mall and Ahli Plaza Superstore.
It is worth noting that Capital Bank’s expansion plan for this year involves the opening of new branches in various locations across the Kingdom in order to increase its network to include 20 branches by the year 2010.
