Helping spread awareness on climate change, EMS Participates in the "Every Drop Counts" 2008 Bike Rally

Amman, December 2008 – In line with its dedication to being an active member of the community and spreading public awareness on environmental issues, Energy Management Services International LLC (EMS) - the first company to provide energy management solutions (ESCo) in the Middle East - announced its participation through three of its team members in the "Every Drop Counts" 2008 Initiative's bike rally.
Held on December 6, 2008, to coincide with the International Action Day Against Climate Change, the 20km bike ride was taken up by cyclists from various environmentally-conscious companies, institutions and citizens. The notable one-day event was organized by the Campaign Against Climate Change UK (CACC) and the Call to Action Jordan movement in collaboration with the Greater Amman Municipality, Tareef Cycling Club and German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), to encourage Arab and world leaders to take stronger action against global warming and climate change issues. NGOs, governmental institutes, private sector companies and individuals from over 70 countries participated in this International event.
