Umniah’s support of this initiative for its third consecutive year stems from its acknowledgment in the importance of assisting outstanding students and developing their abilities across a number of areas.
Umniah honored the scholarship winners in a ceremonial event that was held at the Fakhr El-Din restaurant under the patronage of the UWC National Committee. The event was attended by H.E. The scholarship winners were chosen from a selection of students attending different public and private schools across the Kingdom because of their advanced scholastic skills. Commenting on this event, Mr. Ihab Hinnawi said: “We are proud that Umniah is amongst the supporters of these distinguished students who deserve all the encouragement and support. As an integral part of the community we belong to, we are honored to be contributing in the commemoration of these students who have an extremely promising future.”

We hope that this fruitful engagement between local organizations and the Jordanian community will continue to include all members of our society.”
The United World Colleges (UWC) comprises a group of schools from across the globe, and aims to foster international understanding and peace through bringing exceptional students from different parts of the world together, allowing for constructive interaction and cultural exchange within an academic program that offers its participants unique international opportunities.
